Pojman and other abortion opponents got plenty of ammunition when abortion Dr. Kermit Gosnell was arrested in 2012 running a filthy and unregulated abortion clinic in Pennsylvania where at least one woman died. They say the Gosnell case shows that serious restrictions are needed on abortions, pointing out that the steps they are taking are no different than the steps regulators would take, for example, if a food company was found to be selling tainted food.
“We are holding Planned Parenthood accountable for their actions,” Texans United for Life President Joe Pojman told an anti Planned-Parenthood rally at the state Capitol.
