Texans from across the state gathered Saturday to march to the Texas Capitol at the Texas Rally For Life. Marchers began at a parking lot at Congress Avenue and 18th Street in front of the Bullock Texas State History Museum and made their way to the Capitol, where the anti-abortion rally was held on the south steps.

“I’ve had a friend whose experienced two abortions,” Joy Yates, a participant of the march, said. “Just to see the devastation over the course of her life from a young woman in her 20’s who had an abortion to now, it has just been heartbreaking to see the loss that she feels.”
