Keynote Speaker:
Eric Metaxas, #1 New York Times Bestselling Author of Bonhoeffer and Many Other Books
Eric Metaxas is the #1 New York Times Bestselling author of Bonhoeffer and many other books, including Is Atheism Dead?, Martin Luther, Amazing Grace, and Letter to the American Church, which was made into a full-length documentary by the same name. Metaxas’s latest book is Religionless Christianity: God’s Answer to Evil. He has written more than thirty children’s books, including the bestsellers Squanto and the Miracle of Thanksgiving and It’s Time to Sleep, My Love, illustrated by Nancy Tillman. His books have been translated into more than twenty-five languages. He is the host of Socrates in the City and the nationally syndicated Eric Metaxas Radio Show — “The Show about Everything!” — which also airs as a weekly television program on TBN. Metaxas has conducted interviews with an eclectic mix of guests including film director Ron Howard, Mel Gibson, and Morgan Freeman, as well as such figures as Peter Thiel. His writing has appeared in the New York Times, The New Yorker, The Atlantic, and many other publications.

Master of Ceremonies:
Texas Alliance for Life Communications Director Amy O’Donnell
Amy O’Donnell has been a key member of Texas Alliance for Life since August 2018, serving as Director of Communications and part of the Public Policy Team. She has played a significant role in advancing pro-life legislation such as the Human Life Protection Act (HB 1280), Chemical Abortion Safety Protocols Bill (SB 4), the Texas Born Alive Infant Protection Act, and more.
Amy has been featured in major national and international media outlets, providing expert commentary on pro-life issues and Texas abortion laws. Her insights have appeared in The New York Times, Politico, Washington Post, Dallas Morning News, USA Today, Texas Tribune, Austin American-Statesman, Houston Chronicle, and various broadcast news outlets. Additionally, she has emceed press conferences and spoken at partner events and fundraisers alongside prominent leaders.
Recognitions:
Texas Alliance for Life President Joseph Kinlin, J.D.
Joseph Kinlin holds a Bachelor’s in Finance and a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Cincinnati. A U.S. Air Force veteran, an assignment brought him to Texas, where he retired after 25 years of service in 2011. He is licensed to practice law in Texas and Ohio. Joseph and his wife, Lisa, have been involved with local pro-life organizations for years. He and his wife also support two local women’s resource centers, and Lisa leads a bible study for women called Surrendering the Secret, which is a study that assists women with spiritual healing from the heartbreak of abortion. Joseph and Lisa live in New Braunfels, and they have three adult children, two of whom are married. They are looking forward to being grandparents in the future.

Fr. Bruce Nieli, C.S.P.
Paulist Fr. Bruce Nieli is an evangelist and missionary based at St. Austin Church in Austin, TX. As part of the Extraordinary Jubilee Year of Mercy, Pope Francis named him a Missionary of Mercy.
A native of Long Island, NY, Fr. Bruce was ordained in 1973 and is a past director of evangelization for the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.
Fr. Bruce leads parish missions and retreats and speaks at a variety of diocesan and regional conferences. He is fully bilingual and gives presentations in both English and Spanish. Responding to the Spirit in the Soul, in the Church and in the World” is one of his topics, as is the spirituality of St. Paul the Apostle.

David Lawrence
David graduated with a business degree from Oral Roberts University. David is a pastor, minister, business leader, and church planter. His itinerant preaching ministry has grown over the years, partnering with leaders, churches, and organizations across the globe. David’s ministry has taken him to over 27 nations, training pastors and business leaders, strengthening the local church, and leading special mission outreach projects. At the same time, he has advanced a successful career in the corporate and non-profit sector in development and fundraising philanthropy, delivering high-growth results to multimillion-dollar fund campaigns and volunteer recruitment. David is also part of John Maxwell’s leadership team of coaches and trainers and meets with individuals and teams regularly to help them grow past their limitations and overcome unseen barriers.
