Down Syndrome Information Act

Earlier this month, I was humbled to receive the Courageous Defense of Life award for my work on the Down Syndrome Information Act from the pro-life advocacy group Texas Alliance for Life. While it was a distinct honor to receive the award, I accepted it knowing that it takes all of us who are part of this movement to courageously defend every human life.

The Texas Alliance for Life noted in announcing the award “It is uncommon for a freshman member of the Legislature to take a leadership role in such controversial legislation, but that is exactly what Landgraf did.
