MEDIA ADVISORY: U.S. Senator John Cornyn to Headline Texas Alliance for Life’s Luncheon

AUSTIN, TX — United States Senator John Cornyn will headline Texas Alliance for Life’s quarterly Leadership Circle luncheon this Friday in Austin. Members of the media are invited to attend and will have an opportunity to ask questions. The event will also be streamed live.

“We are very honored to welcome Senator John Cornyn as our featured speaker at our quarterly Leadership Circle luncheon,” said Joe Pojman, Ph.D., executive director of Texas Alliance for Life. “His efforts were critical to the successful passage of the pro-life budget reconciliation bill, H.R. 3762, last December, which is the first time Congress defunded Planned Parenthood.”

Senator Cornyn is the senior senator from Texas and is the Senate Majority Whip. He formerly served as the Attorney General of Texas, and before that he served on the Texas Supreme Court.

The luncheon will be held at the Norris Conference Center located at 2525 W Anderson Ln #365, Austin, TX 78757 from 11:15 AM until 1:00 PM. Sen. Cornyn’s remarks begin at 12:10 PM, followed by an audience Q&A. Sen. Cornyn will be available to the media following his remarks. For anyone who cannot attend, this event will be streamed live for viewing on computers and mobile devices.
