We are thrilled to report that the 2023 Annual Benefit Dinner held on Saturday, October 7, at the Hilton Austin was a resounding success. More than 1,100 pro-life leaders, partners, advocates, and supporters from across Texas graced the occasion with their presence. We express our gratitude to all those who attended the banquet.

Master of Ceremonies:

The evening kicked off with TAL Board Member Ronda Moreland as our evening’s Master of Ceremonies. A very special thank you to her for leading the evening.


Invocation:

TAL Board Member Mark Markham, pastor of Grace Fellowship in Lago Vista, set the tone for the evening with a blessing and words of encouragement for the audience.


Recognition of Elected Officials and Candidates:

Dozens of pro-life elected officials and candidates were also in attendance to celebrate life.


Courageous Defense of Life Award:

U.S. Representative Tony Gonzales and State Representative Stephanie Klick received the Courageous Defense of Life Award.


A Special Thanks to Our Amazing Board of Directors:

A number of our Texas Alliance for Life board members attended this year’s Annual Benefit Dinner. We appreciate their leadership and service to this organization!


A Message from Our Executive Director:

The Founder and Executive Director of Texas Alliance for Life, Dr. Joe Pojman, provided legislative, judicial, educational, and organizational updates.


Keynote Speaker:

Ryan Bomberger, the founder of the Radiance Foundation, touched many people’s hearts as he talked about his story of being a child conceived in rape yet allowed to live and later adopted and loved.


Claire Culwell – Ways to Get Involved:

TAL Board Member Claire Culwell shares a hopeful message of forgiveness, redemption, and truth, exposing the unborn baby’s humanity and how abortion hurts women.


Benediction:

Rev. Jim Evans shared closing remarks.
