Proposition A does nothing to address pregnant women’s and their children’s real needs, such as offering alternatives to abortion, pregnancy assistance, and healthcare.

Prevents San Antonio Police from Protecting from:

  • Secret abortions on minor girls.
  • Abortions to cover up pregnancies from incest.
  • Late abortions, even in the third trimester.
  • Back-alley abortions.
  • Abortions by pimps and sex traffickers to eliminate “problem” pregnancies.

Encourages illegal trafficking of abortion-inducing drugs, risking women’s health, fertility & lives by:

  • Infection, including sepsis, from incomplete abortion or punctured uterus.
  • Loss of future fertility from untreated Rh factor.
  • Risk of death from undiagnosed ectopic pregnancy.
