 Incentives and Awards
The sky's the limit on how much you can raise! We make it easy by collecting the money for you -- all you have to do is ask for pledges!
To help motivate you -- and to spark a little friendly competition -- we offer incentives for pledges totaling $200 or more and awards for the top individuals, churches, pastors, and youth groups.
Remember, the incentives are cumulative (except for the 2 event tickets). The more you raise, the more you win!
Incentives for Walkers
- $200 -- Walk 2010 T-Shirt.
- $500 -- TAL Water Bottle and Baseball Cap
- $1,000 -- 2 Tickets to the TAL Picnic and Round Rock Express Game on Friday, July 23
- $2,000 -- 4 Tickets to the TAL Picnic and Round Rock Express Game on Friday, July 23, OR 2 Tickets to TAL's 2010 Annual Benefit Dinner on Tuesday, October 19
- $4,000 -- 4 Tickets to TAL's 2010 Annual Benefit Dinner
- $6,000 -- Table for 10 at TAL's 2010 Annual Benefit Dinner
The youth group with the most pledges wins a pizza party for all Walk participants. The youth group with the most walkers wins T-shirts for all members in attendance.
Awards for Top Individuals, Churches, Pastors, and Youth Groups
In addition to incentives for individuals, Texas Alliance for Life recognizes top individuals, churches, pastors, and youth groups for their outstanding Walk 2010 accomplishments.*
Certificates will be presented at each Walk site for the following categories:
Churches Over 1,000 Members
- Most Pledges
- Most Walkers
- Top Pastor
Churches Under 1,000 Members
- Most Pledges
- Most Walkers
- Top Pastor
Individuals
Youth Groups**
- Most Pledges
- Most Walkers
*All awards are based on the number of pledges at the time of the Walk or the number of walkers at the Walk site.
**A youth group is defined as no more than 20 youth under 18 years of age collecting pledges as a team.
